and foster agricultural viability.
3. To promote the conservation and appropriate management of woodlands
and open space.
OUR STRATEGIES:

resource benefits of land conservation.
- Promote landowner awareness of the social, financial and ecological
advantages of conservation.
B. TO PRESERVE

- Manage and oversee as necessary the property and easements acquired
by HLTA.

- Support limited development when it is the best available option to
fulfill the conservation goals of HLTA.
- Establish linked greenways of preserved properties to promote agricultural
viability, habitat corridors, enhanced water quality and water quantity,
and public access opportunities.
C. TO PARTNER

to facilitate preservation projects and leverage funding.

land use policies.
