Farmers' Market special event day - From a Child's Point of View |
Join us at the Market on Sunday July 16 for a special day at the market seen from a child’s point of view. Local children’s band Macheis Wind will be on hand. Matt McPherson from Matt’s Red Rooster will prepare kid-friendly food during his cooking demonstration and Melissa Pickell will teach children to “Eat a Rainbow” with a 30-min program for children ages 6-10 to learn about the life cycle of a fruit and vegetable rainbow including planting, composting, and eating. Stephanie Smith from the Waldorf School will help kids make butterflies and jump ropes with natural fibers. |
